Everything is packed by hand and sent with Royal Mail Tracked 48.
The United Kingdom only, for now. If you are outside the UK and want something printed, email hello@kakipress.uk and we will see what we can do. Collection from the studio is currently not available.
Postage is worked out at checkout from what your parcel actually weighs, and includes a small amount towards packaging. The exact cost appears before you pay, once we know the size, the paper and the quantity.
Prints under 25mm thick travel as a large letter, which is cheaper. Anything thicker, and anything A3, has to go as a parcel even when it is light.
Tracked 48 aims to arrive within 2 to 3 working days of us posting it. That is on top of the printing time, and the printing clock only starts when you approve your proof.
| Stage | How long |
|---|---|
| Proof to your inbox | 1 to 2 working days from ordering |
| You approve it | Nothing prints until you do |
| Printing, standard | 7 to 10 working days |
| Printing, rush | 3 working days |
| In the post | 2 to 3 working days |
The checkout shows you the whole thing added up before you pay.
You get a tracking number by email when your order is posted. Royal Mail treat Tracked 48 as lost after 10 working days. Tell us on the eleventh and we will reprint your order or refund it accordingly. You do not have to chase Royal Mail yourself: your contract is with us, not with them, so sorting it out is our job.
If it arrives damaged, send us photographs of the parcel and the prints within 14 days and we will do the same.
We post to the address you give at checkout, exactly as you type it, so check it before you pay. Email us straight away if you spot a mistake: we can change it before the parcel goes out, and after that a wrong address means a reprint at the normal price.
Our terms of service cover cancelling, proofs and what happens if something is wrong with the printing itself.
